Applications of Induction Heat Treating - George Welch, Manager - Heat Treat Products, Ajax-TOCCO Magnethermic Corp.



George P. Welch is the Manager for Heat Treating as Ajax Tocco Magnethermic Corp., Warren, OH. Mr. Welch is a 1971 Graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Technology. He has spent 38 years in the induction industry with Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic and has held positions in field service and applications engineer for various products such as High Frequency Melting, Forging, Mass Heating and Heat Treating.

Mr. Welch has been an ASM member since 1978, active in the Warren Ohio Chapter, and has participated on HT T&P Conference committee. His outside interests include outdoor activities in the summer and Ballroom Dancing whenever he and his wife can find music and a dance floor.
