Young Member's Night

"From Swiss Cheese to Bullet-Proof Vests to Nanostructured, Bio-Mimetic, Smart Materials: Why Polymers Rule the World." presented by Associate Professor Stuart J. Rowan and Associate Professor Christoph Weder of the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University.
The evening will include a buffet dinner, facility tours and demonstrations. This is an opportunity to see some of the newest development in smart materials, polymers and nanomaterials. A rare opportunity to learn and be entertained, this event is not to be missed!
**We encourage all ASM members to bring junior high and high school students who are interested in cutting edge technology, science and engineering.
Location: Case Western Reserve University - Kent Hale Smith Engineering and Science Building
Meet in the atrium of the Kent Hale Smith Engineering and Science Building (number 79 on map)
It is recommended to park in the University Hospitals visitor lot across the street from the Kent Hale Smith building or in the Veale Center visitors lot at the corner of Adelbert Road and Circle Drive. Parking will need to be validated by the Macromolecular Science department staff, so please bring your parking ticket with you to the event.
